According to the experts, in the current context, the restoration, conservation and promotion of the values of traditional community houses are needed to be carefully considered and researched.
For example, from the project of restoring the traditional community house in A Ka Village, Thuong Quang Commune, Nam Dong District (Thua Thien Hue Province), the experts believe that there are many lessons being drawn, including the restoration must be relied on the community; the preparation should be thorough; the support and approval of local authorities are needed; experts have an important role to contribute to the success of the project, knowledge and timely advice are required so that the project can achieve the set goals, etc.
One key point for the conservation of community houses is the need for a long-term orientation, but the most important is to consult with the locals, let they be the subjects in the restoration of community houses, etc.
