Awarding 41 VESAF scholarships to students of Hue University

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of November 23, Hue University has collaborated with Viet Nam Education and Social Assistance Foundation (VESAF, NFP) and Hearts for Hue Fund to award the VESAF scholarships for the 2022 - 2023 academic year to students of Hue University.

In this occasion, 41 students, who were awarded the scholarships, are from families with difficult conditions but achieve good academic performance from five member universities of Hue University, including: University of Economics, University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Sciences, and University of Tourism - Hue University. Each scholarship is worth 400 USD.

Since its establishment, the VESAF has implemented many humanitarian projects in Vietnam, such as the projects on building bridges and roads, houses, and clean water wells in the Southern provinces; awarding scholarships to students with difficult circumstances in the Central region. In the period of 2018 - 2022, the VESAF has presented nearly 700 scholarships to students in the province, as well as university students in Hue City and Da Nang City.
