Cooperation agreement on planning – architecture signed

Attending the signing ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh; and on the side of the Vietnam Association of Architects, Mr. Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, as a representative.

According to the signed cooperation agreement, in the period from now to 2024, the Vietnam Association of Architects will focus on coordinating with the Provincial People's Committee to organize seminars, get social feedback and conduct entrance exams for selecting a number of architectural works located in important areas. At the same time, the Association will also participate in reviewing, classifying and making a list of valuable works before 1954 in the city; participate in giving feedbacks on the urban design of some historic inner-city areas to meet the urgent requirements of urban planning, architecture and development management towards proper heritage conservation...

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh said that the cooperation between the province and the Vietnam Association of Architects in the field of construction planning is an opportunity for the province to cooperate with many leading experts in the field of planning - architecture, to get valuable ideas to help the province protect the value of traditional architecture, cultural heritage and improve the management of planning - architecture in the area. At the same time, this cooperation also helps the province to gradually create an urban appearance under the Central Government management with architectural works bearing its own identity, meeting the requirements of society in the new period.

“Currently, the province is simultaneously organizing the implementation of planning projects and many other projects to strengthen the management of planning, architecture and urban infrastructure development. It is hoped that, with this cooperation, the province will have more active, quality support and many feedback channels for urban development to be commensurate with its inherent value and suitable for the new situation," Vice Chairman Hoang Hai Minh emphasized.

Mr. Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, committed that with a very diverse, specialized and enthusiastic staff, the Association would make a really useful contribution to the province in construction and planning to promote the land with profuse values.
