Inaugurating Glass Vico glass production plant

TTH.VN - On the morning of December 18, Vietnam Export Import Service and Investment Joint Stock Company (Vicosimex) held a ceremony to inaugurate the Glass Vico glass plant which belongs to Glass Vico Trade and Investment One Member Limited Liability Company at Phong Dien industrial zone.

Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong.

At the end of 2016, the Provincial People’s Committee approved the investment project of constructing civil glass and wrapping glass production plant proposed by Glass Vico Trade and Investment One Member Limited Liability Company. To the beginning of 2017, the Vicosimex Company set to work, and up to now the plant has come into operation as scheduled.

The plant has just done the first phase with the investment of 50 billion VND, glass kiln capacity of 15 tons per day. The company aims to keep on investing more new kilns with the capacity of 30-40 tons per day after 2-3 year of operation. The investment capital is around 80 billion VND for the second phase.

By the time of inauguration, the plant has come into operation and produced stably, ensuring the technical requirements so that the output products meet the huge need of the market at the end of the year to serve the coming Lunar New Year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong congratulated and acknowledged the efforts of the company to put the plant into operation on time. The Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee said that in the coming time, the company needs to continue to improve the products’ quality, as well as invest in equipment, take the full advantage of the efficiency of resources and minimize the consumption in production, thereby ensuring the efficient, safe, economical and environmental friendly production. The province will continue to accompany and support the company in the development process.

Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hoped that with the long-term research, the project of Glass Vico glass production plant will gain good results in production and business activities. The Glass Vico Trade and Investment One Member Limited Liability Company will continue to develop more and more and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
