Being formed from an inspiring meeting between the Hue Monuments Conservation Center and representatives of the Crossing Bridge 20Plus, Hue International Photography Festival 2023 is a special event and a bridge connecting the "bridge of photography" of 7 countries. The Crossing Bridge 20Plus has come to Vietnam four times in the past twenty years. This is an impressive reunion of artists who share a passion for recreating reality through the lens of art.

The program aims to help the community, promote the images of countries to the world and do charity work. The participating photographers, coming from 7 countries with different customs, and cultures, etc., will be exciting and enthusiastic to explore and take photos as they are in a country with a distinct culture. The special thing is that the participating photographers all shouted the names of their countries in unison when posing for commemorative photos, and sang a song praising President Ho Chi Minh: "Vietnam Ho Chi Minh..."!

Hue News would like to introduce you a series of photos, taken by the photographer Bao Minh, about the photographers taking photos in Hue heritages.

Catching the moments of birds

Not claiming himself as a photographer, Mr. Tran Thien (born in 1984) devotes all his passion and heart to “hunt” the picturesque and unique photos of birds. To catch these ecstatic moments, sometimes he has to “disguise” himself as a bird, stork, and hide himself for hours, even for days.

Phong, Trung, and passion for digitizing photos of heritage

"This (digitizing photos) helps the descendants not have to spend time imagining how their ancestors looked like," explained Trung. He said that digitizing photos could be roughly like photoshopping the photos after capturing them. The only difference is that users have to buy separated software and pay annually.
