Hai Van Gate is known as "world’s most majestic gate", located at an altitude of nearly 500m right at the top of Hai Van Pass. Once served as the military defense for the Hue Citadel, this defensive cluster was built under the Nguyen Dynasty in such a critical position to control the North-South road and Da Nang Bay.

Hue has come into summer with the peach of the sun and the sound of cicadas resounding on the canopy of leaves. Sometimes the spring still pours mist into the early sunrise and late sunset. On the morning of February 23, the project ‘Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam’ (sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam through WWF-Norway) and the Provincial Center for Innovative Startup officially launched the contest “Initiatives to reduce plastic waste - Hue 2023”. The contest was held with an aim to find innovative ideas to reduce plastic waste in Hue City.

After nearly 2 years of construction, the renovation - embellishment of revolutionary historical relic of Tri Thien Hue Party Committee tunnels (also known as Khe Trai tunnels in Huong Van ward, Huong Tra town) has been completed. This work is about 25 km in the northwest direction from Hue City.

From September 14th to 17th, the provincial Travel Association cooperated with the provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center to organize a famtrip connecting to Laos and Northeast Thailand markets.

On the morning of August 12, the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention collaborated with Thien Tam Fund to organize the ceremony of acceptance and handing over the automatic rain gauge stations for early warning of floods in the Northern, Central, and Central Highlands provinces in 2022.
