On the morning of April 28th, an A321 aircraft with flight number VN 1370 from Vietnam Airlines carried 168 passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue. This was the first flight to “inaugurate” Terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport.

Along with Chan May Port, Passenger Terminal T2 at Phu Bai Airport, which is about to be put into operation; these are expected to turn Thua Thien Hue into a city with the most dynamic international airport and seaport in the Central Region.

On the morning of August 22, Hai Van International Transport Joint Venture Company - Hue branch (Hai Van Company) held a press conference to introduce bus routes from the center of Hue city to Phu Bai International Airport and vice versa. This service is expected to be put into pilot operation from August 27.

That information was informed by the representative of leaders from Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) – the project investor, on the occasion of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh visited and encouraged the team of management, contractors, and workers to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Tiger on the morning of February 8.
