Having worked in Ho Chi Minh City for 10 years and being at the peak of his career, Nguyen Duc Tung, Director of X10 Digital Company, chose to return to Hue with the dream of building a “creative factory” in his homeland.

Andrea Teufel, a German conservator-restorer, has dedicated almost 20 years of her life to restoring the heritage buildings of Hue. Among the many relics she has worked on, Phung Tien Temple is the one that she researched extensively and worked hard to restore its architectural beauty.

Thua Thien Hue is a land that has all the necessary elements and advantages for the development of wellness tourism (WT). For this type of tourism to develop and attract customers, the construction and promotion of the WT brand needs to be implemented in a systematic and in-depth way.

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. Heading towards Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the National Archives Center No.1 (under the State Records and Archives Department) and Hue Monuments Conservation Center will jointly open an exhibition space themed "Imperial Archives of the Nguyen Dynasty - Memory of a Dynasty" on November 17, at the Exhibition Building, the National Archives Center I, at 5 Vu Pham Ham Street, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

On October 20, the first large-scale digital art experience space in Vietnam, named "Sốnglab", was officially launched to serve residents and visitors at the Sốngplatform building (Hue City).

These are 6 of 121 Vietnamese culinary dishes that have just been honored by the Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association (VCCA) as typical national dishes in phase I of a project titled "Building and Developing Vietnamese Culinary Culture into a National Brand Name”. All of these 6 dishes, including: Hue beef noodle soup, glutinous rice dumplings stuffed with roasted pork in sweet soup, mussel rice, banh loc (glutinous rice dumplings), vegetarian fig salad, and lotus-leaf-wrapped steamed rice; all are close to the gardens and paddy fields of the land.

Once following a friend of mine to Hoi An (Quang Nam province), I was quite impressed with the communal house of Cam Thanh commune. From outside, the building has a bold characteristic of the image of a Vietnamese village with a row of upright areca palm trees. In particular, the structure of sturdy wooden columns and bamboo frames, and available natural materials make visitors feel close to their homeland.

On September 21, Thua Thien Hue Museum of History coordinated with members of the “Review Council of dossier on the relics in Thua Thien Hue Province" to implement a field survey at a number of proposed buildings and sites to compile a scientific dossier for ranking relics in 2023.
