On April 12, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting and working session with Central Retail Vietnam Group, led by Mr. Olivier Bernard R. LANGLET, CEO of Central Retail Vietnam Group, on researching in investment and development in the province.

On November 14, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong made a field trip to inspect the implementation of the project of embellishing the banks of the Huong River in combination with the wharf located along Bui Thi Xuan Park, and the project of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City). On November 10, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting with Mrs. Ramla Al Khalidi, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on the occasion of starting her working term in Vietnam.
