On November 5, the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs coordinated with Fédération Handicap International (Humanity & Inclusion) (HI) in Vietnam held a conference to run the project “Enhancing access to information and employment opportunities for the handicapped through appropriate technology and digital applications” in the period of 2024 – 2027.

On the afternoon of September 27, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs held a conference to evaluate the work of sending laborers abroad under contracts for the first nine months of the year and to outline tasks for the last three months of 2024. The conference also aimed to discuss and address questions from relevant units and service companies regarding the advantages, difficulties, and challenges in sending laborers abroad.

On July 15, the Provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs collaborated with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to organize the opening ceremony of a professional training course for swimming and diving instructors in the area, under the project “Prevention of child drowning in 2024”.

On the afternoon of May 19, the program "Glory of Vietnam 2024" with the theme "20 years of provoking Vietnam's strength" took place in Hanoi. The program was directed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Central Reward and Emulation Board, and the Central Propaganda Department organized directly by Lao Dong newspaper.

In response to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3rd), the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs collaborated with the Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) to organize a community-oriented running program, “Together with Persons with Disabilities,” under the theme “Every Step Counts - Connecting Love” in Hue City on the morning of December 3rd.

On September 26, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Tin Phat International Cooperation Investment Education Joint Stock Company, together with the participation of the third partner is SAIKAIKYO Corporation (Japan) held a ceremony of signing memorandum of understanding on coordinating to recruit, train, and take provincial labors with difficult circumstances to do technical internship in Japan.

On the evening of November 15th, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (PVUSTA), in coordination with Hue University, the Provincial Labor Confederation, the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Youth Union and related units, held the Closing Remarks and Award Ceremony of the 12th Thua Thien Hue Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2022, and at the same time, recognizing and honoring the merits of innovators who have come up with useful technical solutions.

On July 23, the Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with organizations, enterprises and benefactors to organize the "Scholarship awarding ceremony for outstanding poor students overcoming difficulties in 2022".

On the afternoon of May 29, The Center for Social Work and the Provincial Children’s Fund, the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs cooperated with Green Blouse Volunteer Club under the management of the Union of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Hue University and the Pediatric Center - Hue Central Hospital to hold the program “Children’s Festival Day”.
