On the afternoon of December 26, the Pediatric Center of Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony for patient Pham H. V., 10 years old (from Quang Binh). The patient had sepsis, multiple organ failure, and acute respiratory distress syndrome due to severe pneumonia.

On the afternoon of November 16, Hue Central Hospital and VinBrain Joint Stock Company (from Vingroup) signed an agreement to implement more profound cooperation programs in digital transformation, building intelligent hospitals, and doing scientific research.

Hue Central Hospital shared that on October 7, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep - Director of Hue Central Hospital, the endoscopy department doctors collaborated with Vietnam Federation for Digestive Endoscopy (VFDE) have successfully deployed the technique to remove intrahepatic gallstones using peroral cholangioscopy with laser (Spyglass). The patient is Phan Thi T., 74 years old (from Thua Thien Hue).

On October 5, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Office in Vietnam held a Conferral Ceremony for the JICA President Award Certificate 2021 awarded to Hue Central Hospital.

On July 22, Hue Central Hospital informed that the second case of a patient who received a renal autotransplant was successful.

On the afternoon of May 29, The Center for Social Work and the Provincial Children’s Fund, the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs cooperated with Green Blouse Volunteer Club under the management of the Union of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Hue University and the Pediatric Center - Hue Central Hospital to hold the program “Children’s Festival Day”.

"Looking at the picture of cancer, many people find it very dark. But for me, it's different; I see this picture lighting up every time. The opportunity for patients to detect and successfully treat cancer is more favorable than ever…". That message was given by Prof. Nguyen Chan Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Cancer Society at the Annual Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control - Hue 2021. And that "picture" is being decorated by the Oncology Center (Hue Central Hospital) with brighter andvivid colors.

On May 9, at Hue Central Hospital, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong bestowed a certificate of merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the team of the trans-Vietnam heart transplantation as the case had been successfully performed by the experts of the Hospital.

On April 11, Hue Central Hospital claimed that pediatric patient Tran Nguyen Thuy N. (12 months old) - a case of bilateral nephroblastoma that was successfully treated by the collaboration between the Hospital and St Jude Children's Research Hospital (USA) - has returned to Vietnam.

These are the female "warriors" of Hue Central Hospital in all areas of health care for patients. Despite stress, pressure, and even the constant risk of infection, those "warriors" always fulfill the mission of a physician, like flowers silently emitting fragrance.
