On September 4th, the University of Education, Hue University organized the Application and Admission Procedures for 1,809 new students who confirmed their admission to the university.

After two months of launching, Vietnam's Piano Got Talent 2024 competition has received thousands of applications, and more than 400 contestants have passed the preliminary round to advance to the direct competition round at the Song Huong Theater - Hue Academy of Music (Hue City).

At the Award Ceremony of "L'ORÉAL - UNESCO For the Development of Women in Science" in 2023, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Ai Nhung made an impression with her “typical Hue” image upon giving a presentation on the research topic relevant to the potential and application of endemic medicinal plants in Thua Thien Hue Province in supporting disease treatment for public health care. She was among three female scientists honored by L'ORÉAL - UNESCO in 2023.

The application "Hue Tourism Passport - Hue City Passport" aimed to add novelty to tourists' journeys in Hue. As a source of destination information, the application is highly interactive, bringing many interesting experiences to visitors.

"Dó" is the dó paper, which is considered the "dawn" of paper types and applications in Hue. “Gone with the dó”, which also means “Gone with the paper”, or “Let the paper blow it away”. With the application to support digital transformation for businesses, the Provincial IT Center - HueCIT has excellently won the VietNam Digital Awards - VDA 2022 in the category of Products, Typical Digital Technology Solutions, and Services. This is the third year in a row that HueCIT has been honored by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association at the recent Vietnam Digital Awards 2022.

Festival digital map is a new feature on Hue-S mobile application built and developed by the Smart City Monitoring and Operation Center.

On April 13, the Department of Science and Technology organizing the acceptance of the results of the implementation of the Science and Technology project sponsored by the Science and Technology Development Fund named “The Application of grassroots-level scientific records on Tuong Hue masks into the production of Tuong masks for Hue Festival”. This project is taken charge of by Hue Monuments Conservation Center.
