On the afternoon of June 6, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong granted the decision to allow the operation of General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, former Deputy Defence Minister, the son of General Nguyen Chi Thanh, and the representative of the General's family received the decision.

On May 31, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Dong Bich Du, Consul General of the People's Republic of China to Da Nang city.

That is the affirmation of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong about the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) in 2021 when the ranking of the Province increased by 9 places, rising to the leading position in the country in the recently announced list.

On May 21, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong received Mr. Marc E. Knapper, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; Ms. Marie C. Damour, Consul General of the US in Ho Chi Minh city; Ms. Monica Damberg – Ott, Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam; together with cultural assistants and receptionists of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city on the occasion of their visit and work in Thua Thien Hue.

On the morning of May 17, Nguoi Lao dong Newspaper held a ceremony to present 10.000 national flags and medical equipment bags to the fishermen in the provincial area. Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; Head of Representative Office of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper in the Central Region Dang Hoang Dung.

On May 9, at Hue Central Hospital, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong bestowed a certificate of merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the team of the trans-Vietnam heart transplantation as the case had been successfully performed by the experts of the Hospital.

That was the desire of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong at the meeting and greeting session with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang led by Mr. Ahn Min Sik, the Consul General on the afternoon of April 14.

On March 10, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation between Thua Thien Hue province and Vietnam Airlines Cooperation (Vietnam Airlines) in the period of 2022 – 2026.

On the afternoon of March 7, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting with Mr. Antonio Alessandro, Italian Ambassador to Vietnam.

On the journey to follow Lord Nguyen for expanding the territory to the South, the descendant of Marquis Nguyen Huu Canh left a branch of Nguyen Huu by the Pho Loi River (Phu Vang District) and gave birth to Tiger Kung Fu handed down so far.
