On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). For the first time, the “Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2024 & Car Camping Festival” off-road car racing event will take place at Thuy Tien Lake Park, Hue City. The event is organized by Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture and Sports, Southeast Asian Magazine, and Ky Nguyen (Epoch) Group Corporation, and will officially commence from June 20th to 23th.

From May 21st -29th, a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of Hue City’s Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Vo Le Nhat, visited Lausanne, Switzerland, to attend the general assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF). The delegation also signed a cooperation agreement with Namur, Belgium, and held meetings with EURASIA Association in Switzerland and the city of Blois in France.
