On the afternoon of August 20, Hue City Center for Culture, Information, and Sports in collaboration with the Colors of the Mekong Delta ART club opened a fine arts exhibition themed “Colors of the Mekong Delta” 2024.

On August 20, the College of Tourism - Hue University held a 2024 Job Fair. This was the first time that the college held this activity.

Covering approximately 800 hectares, the lagoon is part of the Tam Giang lagoon system. Following the flow of the waters, the lives of the people here are closely tied to the water as they engage in simple and humble fishing activities.

On August 19, the opening ceremony of the Fine arts Exhibition of the Region IV (the Northern-central region) 2024 was held at the Exhibition - Fair - Advertising Center of Thanh Hoa province, the Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

The position, role and influence of Hue University are being affirmed day by day, granting it eligiblility to become a National University.

On the afternoon of August 18, at the Pediatrics Department of Hue Central Hospital, the Hue Brass Band held a music performance on the occasion of Ullambana Festival.

On August 17th, the Provincial Dental Hospital, in coordination with Operation Smile Vietnam, conducted screening exams for children with abnormalities. This activity is part of the annual Operation Smile surgery program held in Thua Thien Hue.

More than 500 artists and performers from 17 art units representing 9 countries gathered at the International Dance Festival 2024, which opened on the evening of August 17 at the Thua Thien Hue Cultural and Cinematic Center (41A Hung Vuong, Hue City).
