The people lining up in a long procession solemnly bringing the Holy Mother through the central streets of Hue city created a colorful, but dignified and reverent sight. On both sides of the road, tourists and Hue people stood watching attentively, because it has been a long time since such an event has been held.

The 12th stage from Hue City to Da Nang City, of the 2022 - 34th HTV Cycling Tournament with the theme of "Mountains and rivers are one strip – The belief in victory", started on the morning of April 17 at the Provincial Cinema and Culture Center.

After more than 50 years, the road procession of Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) was re-enacted, starting from Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Place (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) to Nghinh Luong Dinh before boarding the boat to sail upstream to the temple. The long procession with more than 400 people going through the streets created an impressive sight, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to attend.

This activity was implemented on the morning of March 23 by the leaders of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam and the People's Committee of Hue City. Chairman of Hue City’s People's Committee Vo Le Nhat chaired the meeting, with the attendance of Ms. Yoo Sooyeon, Deputy Director of KOICA in Hanoi and project management consulting units.

“What a pity. I didn’t have a chance to stop by the city of yellow apricot blossoms (ochna integerrima) for a check-in.” It was a message I received from a tourist acquaintance when she and her family just had a north-south backpacking trip after a long ceasing time due to Covid-19.

Recently, a number of businesses and individuals have rented or purchased abandoned and barren land, with low economic efficiency in Huong An, Huong Tho, and Thuy Bang (Hue City), to renovate and develop agricultural and farm tourism model, such as Green Life Farm, Rom Farm, and Hoang Thi Farm & Camp, etc.

Domestic tourists will continue to come to Hue with stable numbers, and the recovery will continue when international visitors come back to the city from March 15.

The People’s Committee of Hue city has just issued a plan for organizing cultural and artistic activities to serve tourists by night.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that made the probation of tourism students face challenges, organizing skill practice courses at businesses has been highly evaluated as an effective solution.

The tourism industry of the five localities including Da Nang city, Quang Nam - Quang Binh - Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue province has just signed a memorandum of cooperation in 2022 to support each other in the restoration of tourism activities.
