Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). On April 27, Thua Thien Hue Cardiovascular Association, in collaboration with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, Hue Central Hospital, and related units, organized the 3rd Expanded Ancient Capital Cardiovascular Conference.

On the morning of April 24th, Hue University in collaboration with Friedrich Naumann Foundation (Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF)) organized an international workshop with the theme “Gender and the Role of Women in Smart Cities and Climate Change Adaptation".

From the early morning of April 21, the VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2024, organized by VnExpress Newspaper in collaboration with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province and the FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company (FPT Online), officially kicked off in the romantic city of Hue.

On April 15th, Gbike Co., Ltd. (Viet PM) in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a ceremony to hand over and put into operation 20 GCOO electric bikes at Gia Long Mausoleum. At the same time, technology transfer, and supplementary services such as the GCOO bike-sharing technology application, electric charging, and bike maintenance were also provided.

On the afternoon of April 7th, a seminar titled “Commercial Photography in the era of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Photography Association and sponsored by Yongnuo, a company specializing in photography equipment manufacturing.

​On the morning of March 29th, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with Hue’s Fisheries Sub-department, organized the release of 160 thousand endemic fish into the Huong River to restore the aquatic resources of this waterway.
