While tens of thousands of tourists from many places chose Hue as a travel destination to relax during the holidays, many residents of Hue decided to move to another land to have experiences and fun.

In preparation for the April 30th and May 1st holiday, the inter-sectoral inspection delegation have inspected accommodation facilities, travel agencies and destinations throughout the province.

Recently, a number of businesses and individuals have rented or purchased abandoned and barren land, with low economic efficiency in Huong An, Huong Tho, and Thuy Bang (Hue City), to renovate and develop agricultural and farm tourism model, such as Green Life Farm, Rom Farm, and Hoang Thi Farm & Camp, etc.

Being endowed with the poetic space and landscape by nature, Vong Canh Hill has long been chosen by local people and youngsters as a destination for relaxing and entertainment at weekends.

On the first days of the new year, tourists destinations, hotels, and resorts, etc., all recorded a significant number of tourists coming for visiting and entertaining.

Endorsement, the form of marketing involves getting celebrities to visit, stay, “review” their experience and evaluate services, etc., is effectively bringing destinations’ images to visitors.

It is not surprising that two feature films set in Hue won awards at the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival, which had just taken place in Hue. The film "Dreamy Eyes", portraying an ordinary life, won the Golden Lotus Prize, and the film "Camellia Sisters V", portraying a luxurious royal setting, won the prize of the Organizing Committee.
