On the morning of January 6, at the National Hero Memorial of Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue (An Tay Ward, Hue City), Hue City People's Committee held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 235th anniversary of Nguyen Hue’s Coronation and dispatching army to defeat the Qing army. The ceremony was attended by representative leaders of the city, departments, branches, unions and people in the area.

According to the information from Hue City People's Committee, Hue Countdown - Happy New Year 2024 program will take place at 20:00 on December 31 at the intersection of Hung Vuong Street, Hue City. This is an art program to welcome the new year, with the participation of Hue talents, as well as famous singers and artists namely Hieuthuhai, Orange, and Dinh Xuan Ky, etc.

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event.
