Within the context of deepening economic integration and fierce competition, Thua Thien Hue has always actively grasped the current trends to improve the business investment environment and attract more investors. This is shared by Mr. Phan Quoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI).

Japan is one of the strategic countries in attracting investment. Therefore, Thua Thien Hue province is focusing on building investment promotion strategies and attracting Japanese enterprises to invest in investment research.

“Investing and developing a project is like taking care of children; you have to put all your heart and enthusiasm into it. In order to implement a project, it requires not only money and effort but also a great deal of companionship from authorities, departments and branches,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Dong Phuong, Director of Khang Han Company, during her research into the implementation of projects in Thua Thien Hue.

On the morning of June 13, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong had a meeting and working session with Thai investors coming to explore investment opportunities in the province. The meeting was also participated by leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

That was the desire of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong at the meeting and greeting session with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang led by Mr. Ahn Min Sik, the Consul General on the afternoon of April 14.

This investment project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in August 2021. The investor is the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (in the implementation phase of the project).

The province’s decision to establish four Inter-Agency Task Forces (IATFs) on investment promotion and facilitation shows a high determination in speeding up the progress of projects and attracting investors.

Nowadays, more and more businesses and investors are willing to accompany with individual and group startups in terms of funds, consultation about market expansion, management and operation. This is like giving them wings fly high and far.

That information was informed by the representative of leaders from Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) – the project investor, on the occasion of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh visited and encouraged the team of management, contractors, and workers to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Tiger on the morning of February 8.

Difficulties and limitations due to the effects of COVID-19 pandemic do not falter investors. Investment projects still contributed to bringing new “breath” during the period when pandemic prevention came along with economic development, creating promoted steps in investment.
