Prof, Dr. Hoang Thi Thai Hoa, Head of the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, who has made many contributions to science over the past 28 years, has just received the 2023 Kovalevskaia Award.

On the afternoon of February 29th, Hue University announced that a female lecturer and scientist from Hue University has just received the 2023 Kovalevskaya Award.

On the evening of January 26th, 2024, the award ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City took place in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Hue City, being one of three cities representing Vietnam, proudly received this prestigious award. This is an award within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) held from January 22nd to 27th. The delegation from Hue City, led by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City, Vo Le Nhat, attended the award ceremony and participated in various activities of the forum.

Many of the dozens of artifacts recently received by the Thua Thien Hue History Museum from donors are considered extremely rare by experts. These artifacts are cultural heritage associated with the land, people, cultural life, the period of resistance against invaders, and the construction and defense of the Fatherland by the army and people of Thua Thien Hue.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Hue Fine Arts Museum, announced on January 19th that the museum received nearly 60,000 visitors in 2023. On the afternoon of December 4, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting and exchange with H.E. One rainy day in Hue, I received an elaborate and impressive design for artist Dang Mau Tuu’s upcoming painting exhibition in Hanoi. It is surprising because he recently had an exhibition “Aotearoa - a region of white clouds” at Hue Museum of Fine Arts in June 2023, after he had just returned from New Zealand. Four months later, he continued with his own exhibition titled “Specks of dust in life” in Hanoi with 20 works painted on acrylic. This is Dang Mau Tuu’s first solo exhibition in Hanoi.
