Scarcely had the boats been pushed into the sea, touching the water surface when the waves, in turn, hit the shore. The wind and waves struck the boat sides, causing the boat to wobble. But a few minutes later, the muscular men with the help of the sea village women successfully started the boats for a squid fishing trip which would last more than 12 hours.

As a regular blood donor, I was also startled when I heard that Truong Thi Huyen Trang had 40 blood donations in just 6 years of studying at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. On the morning of February 23, the project ‘Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam’ (sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam through WWF-Norway) and the Provincial Center for Innovative Startup officially launched the contest “Initiatives to reduce plastic waste - Hue 2023”. The contest was held with an aim to find innovative ideas to reduce plastic waste in Hue City.

From the orientation of fast and sustainable development towards green growth of the province, the movement of green startups and applying the circular economy (CE) model is spreading vigorously.
