On August 10, Hue Tourism College held the final round of the contest titled “Initiatives to reduce waste in general, and plastic waste in particular in tourism business activities”.

On the afternoon of August 8, as part of the 2024 Summer School in Mathematical Physics, Professor Robert Seiringer, from the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, delivered a lecture on the topic “Mathematics as the Universal Language of Nature”.

An electric vehicle powered by solar energy, designed and manufactured by students from the College of Hue, was handed over to Hue Monuments Conservation Center. The handover ceremony took place on the morning of August 7 at Co Ha Garden, Hue Imperial Citadel.

From 300 entries in the preliminary round, the organizers selected 50 works by 50 students to compete in the finals of the 2024 children's drawing competition based on books, themed: "Hue through childhood drawings."

Organizing music programs to raise funds for charity, students from Hue University have partially helped pediatric patients and underprivileged children find motivation to rise in life.

At the 15th annual competition for excellent students from specialized high schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta region held in Hai Duong, students from Quoc Hoc – Hue High School for the Gifted won a total of 29 medals and awards. On the morning of July 15th, Hue Tourism College, in collaboration with IKIGAI International Soft Skills Training Center, organized the career orientation program “Understanding yourself, Understanding your career” to help students make solid steps when choosing vocational education at the intermediate level.

On the morning of July 14th, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of Hue University, in collaboration with the Youth Union of Hue City and the Youth Branch of Mobifone in Thua Thien Hue, launched the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign for 2024.

On July 14, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor's degrees and master's degrees to the students of the 2024 academic year.

On the morning of July 12th, Phu Xuan University organized an exchange session on Han - Nom calligraphy, aiming to introduce and promote the art of calligraphy to a large number of students in the university.
