The donated organ from a 65-year-old woman, who was relatively lightweight from Hai Duong; the time of cold ischemia during transport across Vietnam was minimized; and the need to dissect the entire heart and major blood vessels before transplantation... These challenges were overcome by the medical team at Hue Central Hospital (HCH), bringing life to a patient with end-stage heart failure.

The working trip to the Spratly Archipelago lasted 18 days, but for me, the emotions in my heart are forever filled with years, when I "touched" the sacred waves. Tearful, I looked up at the proudly flying National Flag, imprinting the national image on waves, carrying the image of a resilient soldier in the open sea, and bursting into a heroic song: "The Fatherland’s echoes from the sea..."

Hue Monuments Conservation Center recently had a working session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Ha Duong, managing director of the Vingroup Innovation Foundation – VinIF, to discuss the implementation process of the project “Restoring, training and teaching Hue tuong mask painting art - a traditional art form at high risk of being lost”. The project is built by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and sponsored by the VinIF.

Within the framework of the implementation of the national-level independent project on “Studying and evaluating the current status of the avifauna, and proposing solutions for management and conservation of bird species in coastal lagoon area in Central Vietnam”, which is presided over by the Central Coast Natural History Museum, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and implemented by Dr. Ho Thang, the project leader, the research team has recorded the glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) for the first time in the O Lau estuary of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon.
