On July 19th, the Provincial Urban Development and Investment Management Board held a seminar to announce the 1/2000 scale subdivision planning project for Thanh Tien ecological urban area (EUA).

That Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Huong, a Vietnamese American of Hue origin, won the auction of the precious design dossier of Truong Tien Bridge and successfully brought it back to Hue once again reminds us of the hardships of the repatriation of antiquities.

Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) has just started on the morning of August 23 at Thien Tien Thanh giao Holy Place (No. 352 Chi Lang street, Hue City).

Passing dozens of design projects, the project of the authors Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University were honored with the first prize of the contest "Landscape Design of South Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh".

A group of authors namely Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung (from Faculty of Architecture - University of Sciences, Hue University) was honored with the First prize in the “Southern Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh (Upper surface of the Citadel rampart) landscape design” contest.

Hue Nam Temple (Hon Chen Temple) Festival in July (Lunar calendar) has officially commenced on the morning of August 5 at Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Palace (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) with ceremonies preceding the procession of the Mother Goddess by waterway upstream the Huong River to Hue Nam Temple.

After more than 50 years, the road procession of Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) was re-enacted, starting from Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Place (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) to Nghinh Luong Dinh before boarding the boat to sail upstream to the temple. The long procession with more than 400 people going through the streets created an impressive sight, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to attend.

By the end of November to the early of December (the eleventh and twelfth month of lunar calendar), local people in Thanh Tien village, Phu Mau commune (Hue city) are busy making paper flowers to meet the demand of worship and decoration for Tet holiday.
