On the morning of October 18th, a cooperation agreement was signed between the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam.

According to information from the Provincial Forest Protection Department, on September 25, the forest ranger units have received three individuals of rare and precious wild animals, which were voluntarily handed over by residents via hotlines.

Two rescued bears are brought to the "bear camp" at the foot of Bach Ma (White Horse) National Park on a day of early October to the cheers of wildlife experts and rangers. In the sacred mountain, this event marks a new stage in rescuing and conserving bears.

The purpose of raising Asian Palm civets of Mr. Vo Quang, a citizen of Group 10 - Thuy Phuong ward - Huong Thuy town, is not for business or profit, yet for raising people’s awareness on protecting endangered wildlife animals; in which, there are many rare species that are on the verge of extinction.

The Phuon waterfall is located in Huong Phu Commune (Nam Dong District, a mountainous district about 50 kilometers southwest of Hue City).
