At the working session, Professor Kubo Motoki and the delegation analyzed and exchanged options on biological solutions and the ways to improve the soil for the plants to improve the quality of some specialties in the provincial area. Furthermore, they also introduced Sofix soil nutrient diagnostic technology that harmonizes organic and microbial materials and microorganism, and creates organic materials on-site in the cycle; contributing to the reproducibility and environmental friendliness of the organic agriculture.

According to Vice Chairman Hoang Hai Minh, over time, the province has identified that green agriculture in the field of farming will create a new wind of change in crop restructuring, applying green technologies to raise agricultural productivity and quality, as well as protecting soil and water in cultivation, limiting the use of plant protection chemicals. Mr. Hoang Minh Hai said that at present, the Provincial People’s Committee has carried out the action plans on building Thua Thien Hue into one of the huge centers on science and technology of the nation in the period of 2021 – 2025 with the orientation to 2030; focusing on constructing and completing the project of Thua Thien Hue Hi-Tech Zone, therefore, the construction of Sofix Laboratory Center in Thua Thien Hue is in line with the orientation of the province and the central government.

“We recommend that Ritsumeikan University keeps on surveying to have more test sites selected in the province. We commit to coordinate with the university to hold the surveys and select the locations to effectively assess the use of Sofix fertilizer from the step of soil making to the entire process of growth and development of thanh tra pomelo. In terms of facilities, initially, the laboratory will support the laboratory at the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advancement. In the long term, the province will direct related units to support the company in the work of constructing the Sofix analysis laboratory,” emphasized Mr. Minh.
