Mr. Phan Quoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, shared that the monthly entrepreneur coffee program aims to create a “playground” to help businesses access new sources of knowledge in management and operations. At the same time, it assists the authorities in understanding the desires of businesses to better accompany and support them.

The event attracted over 130 participating businesses, featuring insights from Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Principal of TUE DUC International College - VABIS, Managing Director of the TUE DUC Green School System, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Quality Association and Director of the Knowledge Management Institute.

During the morning session, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung guided the audience through four levels of conscious leadership, including emotional intelligence capacity, the practice of serene laughter, leading with mercifulness and intelligence and practicing Q&A. Emotional intelligence itself encompasses: self-awareness, self-mastery, social consciousness; and relationship management. This helps leaders achieve a balanced life, build inner strength, enhance emotional intelligence, and effectively reduce pressure.

Within the framework of the entrepreneur coffee program, the Provincial Development Research Institute also initiated an assessment of the District and Department Competitiveness Index (DDCI) for departments, boards, sectors, and localities within Thua Thien Hue province for the year 2023. A total of 32 units, including departments and local agencies, were evaluated, with 2,500 businesses participating in the survey. Business information was securely handled during the survey process.

The implementation of the DDCI assessment aims to establish a reliable, extensive, and transparent information channel for businesses to contribute their opinions to shaping local governance. This becomes a crucial focal point in the effort to enhance the investment and business environment under the guidance of the local government, serving as an important tool in directing and managing the province's socio-economic development.

The results of the DDCI Index will be used as a benchmark for the Provincial People's Committee to evaluate the economic management capacity of district, town, and city governments, as well as departments and boards within the province.
