At the signing ceremony
Attending at the bridge point at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee were Mr. Le Truong Luu, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the bridge point of VNPT Group in Hanoi, there was General Director of VNPT Group – Mr. Huynh Quang Liem.
At the ceremony, the two sides agreed to sign cooperation contents including VNPT Group cooperates and supports the Provincial People's Committee to survey and give advice on tasks and overall project on digital transformation and smart city service development; build digital infrastructure, shared platforms, ensuring information security and safety, and cooperating in training and developing information technology - telecommunications human resources.
At the same time, VNPT would coordinate in implementing digital transformation solutions for the government, developing solutions on database and services on the basis of Smart City, Smart City Monitoring and Operation Center, develop and integrate national shared systems such as public services and reporting information systems.
VNPT Group also cooperates with the Provincial People's Committee to give advice, cooperate, support technology transfer and implement digital transformation for digital technology enterprises; support the implementation of non-cash payment solutions, and e-commerce development, support in organizing training, fostering and building a team of information technology - telecommunications expert.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong highly appreciated the companionship of VNPT Group with Thua Thien Hue province in the past time. Chairman Phuong hopes that the newly signed cooperation program will bring to Thua Thien Hue a different look, information technology developing more and more deeply towards the grassroots, shortening the gap between state agencies, promoting administrative reform. This will contribute to promoting the image of Thua Thien Hue, attracting investment, creating a new driving force for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.
