The Organizing Committee sharing information about the Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 contest
Programming contest for senior high school students and innovative information technology products for college and university students (Hue-ICT Challenge) is a competition co-organized annually by the Provincial Association of Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunications in collaboration with the University of Sciences, Hue University under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
To participate in the programming competition for senior high school students, the candidates use computers to programmatically solve the questions of the exam, issued by the Organizing Committee for the contest.
With a duration of 180 minutes, candidates can programmatically solve math problems in one of four programming languages, including Pascal, C/C++, Java or Python when taking the test.
According to the contest Organizing Committee, to support candidates before the contest, the Organizing Committee will regularly open contests for candidates to practice through the website http://oj.husc.edu.vn, in which, each contest has about 5 to 6 questions and the candidates are required to solve them in 3 hours. In addition to regular contests, the website has a system of about 1,000 exercises for students to practice anytime and anywhere.
The Organizing Committee will organize a practice test like the preliminary and official exam process at 8:00 am - 11:00 am on February 26 to familiarize the candidates with the system. The candidates take the test at home or at the high school where they are studying and submit the test on the exam system at http://oj.husc.edu.vn. The preliminary round is scheduled to take place on March 5 and the final round on March 19.
Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 contest is organized to encourage students' movement of learning, self-research and creativity, improving teamwork skills, and integrating international standards of students. At the same time, it aims to provide vocational guidance for students to choose information technology to develop their careers, to meet the needs of the information technology human resource market of Thua Thien Hue province, the Central - Central Highlands in particular and the whole country in general.
The Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 contest expands its scope for not only the subjects in the province. This year, registered candidates come from many localities across the country.
