Inspired by the patterns of Nhat Binh gown in the Nguyen Dynasty, Nguyen Huynh Minh Thanh, a female student from the University of Arts, Hue University launched her collection named “the Dream of Nhat Binh” and won the prize of the National Applied Arts Exhibition and Contest 2022. The Dream of Nhat Binh is not only just a collection but is also a dream of the young fashion designer.

Passing dozens of design projects, the project of the authors Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University were honored with the first prize of the contest "Landscape Design of South Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh".

The book “Hoang Viet Nhat thong Du dia chi” by Le Quang Dinh translated and noted by Phan Dang published by the World Publishing House and the Thai Ha Books has just been awarded Prize A at the 5th National Book Awards.

A group of authors namely Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung (from Faculty of Architecture - University of Sciences, Hue University) was honored with the First prize in the “Southern Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh (Upper surface of the Citadel rampart) landscape design” contest.

Having won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions, Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue City), has just won a silver medal at the 33rd International Biology Olympiad in 2022, held in Yerevan city, Armenia with the participation of 231 contestants from 63 countries and territories.

The 2022 National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Nghe An province, closed on the night of May 28.

By capturing the moments through photos and videos about the customs and cultural beauty of Hue Tet (cuisine, festivals, customs, spring atmosphere, etc.,), the contestants can win the prizes with a total value of over 30 million VND.

Winning prizes in the “Francophone reporter” contest held by Le Courier du Vietnam of Vietnam News Agency, the two students expect that it was a chance for them to promote people and culture of Hue to people in the world in general, and in Francophone community in particular.

It is not surprising that two feature films set in Hue won awards at the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival, which had just taken place in Hue. The film "Dreamy Eyes", portraying an ordinary life, won the Golden Lotus Prize, and the film "Camellia Sisters V", portraying a luxurious royal setting, won the prize of the Organizing Committee.
