On the morning of January 1, 2023, the Department of Tourism collaborated with the Central Airport Authority, Phu Bai International Airport and Vietnam Airlines - Hue branch to welcome the first tourists coming to Thua Thien Hue by air in 2023.

"Looking at the picture of cancer, many people find it very dark. But for me, it's different; I see this picture lighting up every time. On May 9, at Hue Central Hospital, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong bestowed a certificate of merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the team of the trans-Vietnam heart transplantation as the case had been successfully performed by the experts of the Hospital.

On April 11, Hue Central Hospital claimed that pediatric patient Tran Nguyen Thuy N. (12 months old) - a case of bilateral nephroblastoma that was successfully treated by the collaboration between the Hospital and St Jude Children's Research Hospital (USA) - has returned to Vietnam.
