Young artist Tran Ngoc Sy has offered classes of experimental painting for Hue young people with painting activities across places from Thuan An and Hai Duong beaches, Cha mangroves, Vong Canh hill, to the Citadel and ancient pagodas.

Not only seeking new experiences on the roads, young backpackers are “refreshing” their trip through charity, helping and sharing some of the difficulties with the less fortunate people.

That was the desire of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong at the meeting and greeting session with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang led by Mr. Ahn Min Sik, the Consul General on the afternoon of April 14.

On April 13, the Department of Science and Technology organizing the acceptance of the results of the implementation of the Science and Technology project sponsored by the Science and Technology Development Fund named “The Application of grassroots-level scientific records on Tuong Hue masks into the production of Tuong masks for Hue Festival”. This project is taken charge of by Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

"Hue Festival 2022 will have changes in terms of scale and organization, but there is one thing that the Organizing Committee is determined to maintain - the internationality of the festival," said Mr. Huynh Tien Dat, Director of Hue Festival Center, Standing Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2022.

Dang Mau Tuu, the painter, Vice Chairman of Hue Cultural Heritage Research and Development Association, Standing Committee member of the Campaign Board of the construction of musician Trinh Cong Son statue at Hue City, shared that, in less than a year, from the date of announcement through many communication channels, and directly sending invitations to nearly 100 domestic and foreign authors, the Organizing Committee has received 9 sketches of Musician Trinh Cong Son's statue.

This activity was implemented on the morning of March 23 by the leaders of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam and the People's Committee of Hue City. Chairman of Hue City’s People's Committee Vo Le Nhat chaired the meeting, with the attendance of Ms. Yoo Sooyeon, Deputy Director of KOICA in Hanoi and project management consulting units.

From March 15 to 20, a photo exhibition on "Hue in the Spring" has been organized by Thua Thien Hue Association of Photographic Artists, at the garden space of the Union of Literary and Art Associations’ headquarters (at 1 Phan Boi Chau Street, Hue City).

The U23 National Basketball Championship 2022 has just been opened on the evening of March 12 at the Provincial Sports Center. This is the first time for Thua Thien Hue to host this championship.
