Early on the morning of March 15th, at the Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa ward, Hue City), Hue Monuments Conservation Center solemnly organized the Xa Tac Ritual 2024 to pray for national prosperity, favorable weather, abundant harvests, and the well-being of the people.

The organizing committee of Hue Festival 2024 has recently unveiled the official poster for the upcoming festival, scheduled to take place in mid-June from the 7th to the 12th. The tomb of Emperor Thieu Tri (Cu Chanh village, Thuy Bang commune, Hue City) known as Xuong Lang, is a majestic tomb complex with beautiful landscapes in Hue Ancient Capital. Over time, the structure has suffered significant damage.

Many images of Ao dai Hue and Hue ancient capital’s relics are being displayed by Kao Kuong, a Hue-born photographer (whose real name is Nguyen Cao Cuong) in a photo exhibition themed "The Ao dai which I love". The exhibition opened on March 2 at 87 Tran Quoc Thao Street, Ho Chi Minh City.

Within the framework of an agreement in the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam” to “Practicing plastic reduction in the tourism sector", contributing to turning Hue into a plastic-reducing urban area by 2024, Thua Thien Hue Tourism Association on February 28 held a ceremony to announce the action plan to reduce plastic waste of seven units in doing hotel business in Hue City, including Villa Hue, Azerai La Résidence Hue, Melia Vinpearl Hue, EMM Hue, Muong Thanh Hue, Alba Spa Hue, and Thanh Lich.

Recently on January 12, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a report to the scientific committee on the project of restoring Can Chanh Hall in the Imperial City of the Nguyen Dynasty. The project proposes restoring the entire hall with the exterior and interior following the original in the Nguyen Dynasty.

On the morning of February 22nd, at the tomb of Emperor Gia Long in Huong Tho commune, Hue city, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized a ceremony to launch the “Tet trong cay” (“Tree Planting Festival”) in the Year of Dragon 2024.
