Thai Hoa Palace, the symbol of imperial power of the Nguyen dynasty, set to be built by Emperor Gia Long in 1805, is currently being undergoing a restoration funded by nearly 130 billion Vietnamese dong from the state budget. The comprehensive conservation and restoration project of Thai Hoa Palace relic began in late 2021 and is scheduled for completion in 2025.

Heading towards Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the National Archives Center No.1 (under the State Records and Archives Department) and Hue Monuments Conservation Center will jointly open an exhibition space themed "Imperial Archives of the Nguyen Dynasty - Memory of a Dynasty" on November 17, at the Exhibition Building, the National Archives Center I, at 5 Vu Pham Ham Street, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

Connecting reality and digital in Thua Thien Hue

“Digital transformation, new technologies to support preservation and festivals” was the theme of the Conference on Connecting Reality and Digital in Thua Thien Hue Province. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Association for Information Processing, and Hue Center for Information and Technology (HueCIT) on October 12th. This conference was one of the practical initiatives in celebration of National Digital Transformation Day.

International photographers taking photos in Hue heritages

Hue International Photography Festival 2023, which took place from September 10 to September 13 and was organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the Crossing Bridge 20Plus, attracted the participation of nearly 100 photographers from many countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, along with 19 photographers from localities throughout the country.

Marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Musée Khai Dinh - Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities (August 24, 1923 - August 24, 2023), on the afternoon of August 24th, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities in collaboration with the National Museum of History organized an exhibition at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, showcasing the treasures of Emperor Khai Dinh - the one who contributed to the "birth" of the museum. In attendance was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary Phan Ngoc Tho.
