Many activities to welcome spring and Tet holiday at Hue heritage site
These activities will be started from January 17th (December 23th of Lunar Calendar) with the setting up of Neu (Tet tree) at 3 points in the Citadel (The Mieu, Trieu Mieu, and Long An palace) and ended with the ceremony of Neu lowering, New Year Seal opening, giving spring blessing on January 7th of Lunar Calendar.

In order to serve tourists to welcome the spring and Canh Ty Lunar New Year, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organizes many meaningful activities, such as: Opening the display of "Imperial Tet through Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks" and the program "Tet cakes with ancient tastes” on January 18; shooting 21 cannon shots to welcome the New Year on New Year's Eve; performing Hue Chamber Music, performing calligraphy, organizing royal games, performing martial arts and classical drama excerpts, … from the 1st to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year.
