On the afternoon of May 5, at the hall of the Provincial People's Committee, the Organizing Board of Hue Festival 2022 signed four sponsorship contracts for Hue Festival 2022.

For the first time, festivals are held all year round, from spring to summer and then autumn to winter. This is also a new highlight, a way to renew Hue Festival, and a premise to promote economic development from festival tourism.

On the evening of April 30, the Provincial Department of Tourism co-organized with relevant agencies and units to hold the opening ceremony of the festival “Hue – the capital of gastronomy” at Tu Tuong Park.

The community kite flying activity was organized by Hue city Center for Culture, Information and Sports on the afternoon of April 29 at Thuan An beach. This activity is held within the framework of Thuan An Sea Festival 2022, which are taking place from April 28 to May 2.

On the evening of April 29, the gathering of Vietnamese culinary artisans at Hue Festival 2022 was formally held by the Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association at Duyet Thi Duong Theater in the Imperial Citadel. The program aimed to celebrate the success of the convention of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Cuisine Culture Association.

As a part of the Thuan An Sea Festival 2022, the Beach Soccer tournament 2022 organized by Hue city officially opened on the afternoon of April 28 at Thuan An beach.

The festival “Hue – the capital of gastronomy” is being held from April 30th to May 1st, at Tu Tuong Park on Le Loi Street in Hue City.

For the first time after 2 years being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue Kite Festival 2022, which was held from April 16 to 23 at Tu Tuong Park, next to the Huong River’s bank, has attracted a huge number of tourists, especially the participation of the kids from the first days.

The people lining up in a long procession solemnly bringing the Holy Mother through the central streets of Hue city created a colorful, but dignified and reverent sight. On both sides of the road, tourists and Hue people stood watching attentively, because it has been a long time since such an event has been held.

Responding to the Hue Festival of four seasons in 2022, towards the commemoration of the liberation of the South, on the evening of April 16, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the art program "Hue Timbre" at Ngo Mon and the Courtyard of Thai Hoa Palace.
