On the morning of April 14, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2022 officially announced the poster of Hue Festival 2022.

On April 13, the Department of Science and Technology organizing the acceptance of the results of the implementation of the Science and Technology project sponsored by the Science and Technology Development Fund named “The Application of grassroots-level scientific records on Tuong Hue masks into the production of Tuong masks for Hue Festival”. This project is taken charge of by Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

"Hue Festival 2022 will have changes in terms of scale and organization, but there is one thing that the Organizing Committee is determined to maintain - the internationality of the festival," said Mr. Huynh Tien Dat, Director of Hue Festival Center, Standing Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2022.

After more than 50 years, the road procession of Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) was re-enacted, starting from Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Place (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) to Nghinh Luong Dinh before boarding the boat to sail upstream to the temple. The long procession with more than 400 people going through the streets created an impressive sight, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to attend.

A pilot program of shared bike services will begin on April 29, along with “Hue Citadel By Night” launched on April 22 and many other programs and festivals in order to create a highlight to raise tourism demand after the opening of international tourist markets.

On March 31, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2022 announced that it would postpone Hue Festival Week 2022 until late June, from June 25 - 30, as it had been initially planned to take place from April 9-13.

Within the framework of Hue Festival 2022, Hue Nam Temple Festival will be held on April 2-3 (on March 2-3 of the Lunar Year of the Tiger) at 352 Chi Lang Holy Place and Hue Nam Temple (Huong Tho Commune, Hue City).

On the morning of March 25, the Provincial Start-up Festival 2022 of the Ancient Capital - Techfest Hue 2022 was opened at the Provincial Cinema and Culture Center.

On the morning of February 9, the Huyen Tran Temple Festival – the Year of Tiger 2022, was kicked off at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay Ward, Hue City) by the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports. This is an activity to welcome the Year of Tiger, and the first large-scale Festival in the series of activities and events of the “Four Seasons of Festivals” in 2022.

Hue is attractive and poetic in every season in its own way. The old-day ancient beauty has been now added with colors of festivals organized all year round. These festivals are carefully selected and upgraded, and visitor-friendly.
