On the occasion of a recent working trip to Hue and attending a conference themed “The modernization process in Hue and Central Vietnam during the French colonial period”, a delegation of experts and scientists from France and Japan had a visit and working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center at Tang Thu Lau (Archive Pavilion).

That is the main topic of a conference organized by Mitani Sangyo Group and Aureole Group (Japan) in collaboration with the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue province on the afternoon of November 13 in Hue City.

The event was part of a series of activities for the "Fukuroi Day in Hue", organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. It was held by the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in coordination with the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association.

On the afternoon of November 3rd, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, hosted a courtesy reception for delegation from Japan led by Mr. Asaba Kazuyoshi, Chairman of the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association.

In Hue University's international cooperation, Japan has always been a big partner and companion in Hue University's road map towards a National University.

On September 26, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Tin Phat International Cooperation Investment Education Joint Stock Company, together with the participation of the third partner is SAIKAIKYO Corporation (Japan) held a ceremony of signing memorandum of understanding on coordinating to recruit, train, and take provincial labors with difficult circumstances to do technical internship in Japan.

In the chain of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973 – 2023), on September 10, the Okinawa art troupe had an exchange and performance at Hue Music Academy.
