Loving the gentle but profound accent of people in the ancient capital, a group of students from Hue University International School carry out an audiobook project read entirely in Hue accent. “Voice of Ancient Capital” is the gift that these young people want to present to local blind children as well as those all over the country.

During his childhood, President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied, and participated in patriotic activities in Thua Thien Hue for nearly 10 years. Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, along with representatives of a number of departments and agencies, local people, as well as tourists, participated in the procession offering lotus flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Special National Monument - President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood Memorial House in Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) on the morning of May 19th.

On the evening of May 20, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Vesak 2568 Organization Board held the opening ceremony of flower boat parade. After the opening ceremony, the flower boats will parade on the Huong River. This is one of the important activities within the framework of the Vesak Week 2568.
