On January 28, the Provincial Youth Activity Center organized a program to experience the traditional Lunar New Year of Vietnam and South Korea, with the theme "Connecting Spring - Peaceful Tet (Lunar New Year)". The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization.

On January 10, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietjet Air, KX Group (South Korea), SMC Hue Co., Ltd. (South Korea), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietravel Hue One Member Limited Company and related units to organize direct flights connecting Thua Thien Hue and Incheon (South Korea).

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. On the afternoon of December 12th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Edgar Doerig, Head of the Bureau régional pour l'Asie et le Pacifique - Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (BRAP-OIF) (or the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Organization of La Francophonie), and Mr. Aldo de Luca, Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland to Vietnam.

On the evening of November 7th, the Vietnamese Cuisine Culture Association held a ceremony to announce and present certificates for the outstanding culinary dishes of Thua Thien Hue province in phase I – 2022, and launched the nomination voting for the second phase in 2023 of the “Journey to discover the typical cultural value of Vietnam’s cuisine”, and awarding membership certificates to the Culinary Culture Association of Thua Thien Hue.

Ha Giang province has just held a ceremony to celebrate Dong Van Karst Plateau becoming a member of UNESCO Geopark Network for the third time and open the 9th Buckwheat Flower Festival 2023.

In 2024, Lang Co Bay will celebrate its 15th year as a member of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club. It is time for the people of Hue and visitors to fully experience and connect with the natural resources of Lang Co, which have been generously bestowed upon this land.

On September 21, Thua Thien Hue Museum of History coordinated with members of the “Review Council of dossier on the relics in Thua Thien Hue Province" to implement a field survey at a number of proposed buildings and sites to compile a scientific dossier for ranking relics in 2023.

On the afternoon of September 18th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing board and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, hosted a welcome and working session with a delegation from the French Embassy in Vietnam.
