On the morning of November 5, at the University of Sciences, Hue University (the host), the 32nd Olympiad in Informatics for Vietnamese students (ICPC) in the Central Region took place.

The Electro - rock music night by the Fergessen was one of the activities to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France, which was organized by the French Institute of Vietnam. On the morning of October 8th, the broadcast of the final round of the Road to Mount Olympia 2023 competition took place enthusiastically at the entrance of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted. Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, and over 2,000 students, teachers, and local residents who came to support Nguyen Minh Triet, a 12th-grade student majoring in Physics at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted.

On the afternoon of September 16, the Provincial Department of Education and Training coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to organize activities of visiting and experiencing heritage at Hue Imperial Citadel for students achieving the title of "Honorary students of the whole school” in the academic year of 2022 - 2023.

On the morning of September 16, at the Quoc Tu Giam historical site, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to commend students who achieved the title of "School Honors Student" for the academic year 2022 - 2023. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the 23rd “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title is “Duong len Dinh Olympia”) 2023, Thua Thien Hue is honored to have Nguyen Minh Triet, a 12th-grade student specialized in Physics at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, who enters the final round and brings the 6th live broadcast to Hue.

With the aim of creating an extracurricular playground for students, the Sciences High School for the Gifted (University of Science, Hue University) collaborates with the Young Poetry Club to organize creative summer camp for 10th and 11th-grade students.
