On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just issued a decision to recognize “The Knowledge of Making and Wearing Hue Ao dai” of Thua Thien Hue Province as part of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This serves as an impetus for the Thua Thien Hue Garment Association to promote the introduction of the five-panel Ao dai into schools.

“The fact that “Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” having just been enlisted as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage not only is an honor and pride, but at the same time, affirms that Hue Ao Dai always carries the traditional cultural values of the nation and has a strong vitality throughout history,” emphasized Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports when sharing the story about the new recognition of it with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.

That Hue University welcomes many leading professors and experts coming to its member universities to spread new pieces of knowledge is not only an opportunity for its academic staff to acquire new knowledge, but also partly affirms its prestige.

Amateurism, knowledge by trial and error notwithstanding, Lai Dang Quang made Thua Thien Hue archery a leader of the Central region, notched up many successes beyond expectations with his energy and appetite for learning.

On November 11, the Center for Knowledge Co-creation and Development Research (CKC) held the "Energy innovations" contest for students and teachers from 5 junior high schools in the area of Hue City, including Dang Van Ngu, Phu Mau, Phu Duong, Phu Thuong, and Dang Vinh junior high schools.

In the 2023 National High School Graduation Examination, Gia Hoi High School witnesses 434 out of 435 students passing the exam, reaching the rate of nearly 100%. To achieve such result, the school has made great efforts to foster students’ knowledge, the most impressive of which is the class with the Principal Le Trieu Son being the homeroom teacher.

In the second quarter round of the knowledge game show “Road to Mount Olympia (with Vietnamese title is “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was broadcasted on the afternoon of April 2, Nguyen Minh Triet excellently won the first prize and officially entered the final round, according to a representative of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted.

On the afternoon of February 10, the Provincial Youth Activity Center coordinated with Hue Help Organization and Pham Van Dong secondary school (Hue City) to hold a communication program on drowning prevention for children in 2023.
